The first reception was very rude ("No, I won't open the attached tables and chairs outside for you"), but the further impression was very good. Food and beer were delicious, can be fully recommended :-)

Unfortunately, the beautiful part is only allocated to smokers as in the photo. We non-smokers are stuck in a narrow cubicle. Incredible how it can be these days. No recommendation for non-smokers.

We took a trip on Easter Saturday and spontaneously considered where we want to have lunch. Our choice fell on the Kunstkneipe - Schwarze Katz in Sömmerda. We had not booked, so we went on good luck. Upon entering we were greeted very friendly by the boss and we immediately got a table. Drinks, as well as 4 starters and main courses came quickly, fresh and hot. But what really impressed me about the restaurant was the little "attentions" and the atmosphere. In between we were asked if everything was alright with us and that was really great. Keep up the good work and keep this kindness. Congratulations to the 30th anniversary.

A real gem in Sömmerda. Great menu and the best thing is, they specialize in the preparation of lactose and gluten-free dishes. There is no guesswork or nasty surprises in hindsight. The service is just as original as the furnishings. When we're around again, we'll definitely come back. Oh yes, and it tasted good too. 😉😊

We just wanted to have a beer. But then we stayed longer because it was a nice atmosphere. We had a nice evening with punch bowl and live music.

A nice and cozy place for hunger and thirst. You can sit outside and watch the daily hustle and bustle on the market square. Inside it can get a little tight (non-smoking area) if well visited. Reserving a place makes sense, especially at lunchtime. The food is really good and the prices are ok. Unfortunately, the smokers smell is noticeable in the non-smoking area. It is nice that the boss also serves. I will gladly come again.

Saturday about 3pm - we were looking for a warm meal - in other places there was no space or they were not open. Despite the closed company, the black cat found a quiet place away from the other guests. The food was very good, the service very friendly. The next time we visit the region, we will definitely stop here again.

If you like it cozy and want to eat well, go here. There is only one day ticket but it is always delicious.

You have to have experienced this. The operation is unique. The food delicious. Regional beer is going well. Simply a treasure of Sömmerda!
